Whether you are caring for a sick child or recovering from the flu, travelling across town for a doctor visit can feel impossible. Telemedicine bridges that gap. Here is the exact process OnlineDoctor.sg follows so you can receive a legitimate MC without leaving home.
Step 1: Tell us who you are
- Register at https://api.digitalhealth.sg/Rego if this is your first time. We capture your NRIC, contact number, and medical history.
- Returning patients can join the live queue directly at https://api.digitalhealth.sg/join-queue.
- Double-check that your contact number is correct—we rely on it for WhatsApp coordination and digital document delivery.
Step 2: Chat with the concierge
Send a WhatsApp text to +65 8897 7900 stating that you have registered. Our team:
- Confirms eligibility for telemedicine (we will direct you to A&E if symptoms suggest an emergency).
- Provides the estimated wait time.
- Helps you prepare readings such as temperature, blood pressure, glucose, or oxygen saturation.
Step 3: Meet the doctor online
A secure video link will be sent once the doctor is ready. During the consult:
- Present your NRIC for verification.
- Describe your symptoms clearly and mention how they affect school or work.
- Ask any questions about medication, MC duration, or follow-up.
Step 4: Receive your MC and medications
- Payments are processed through PayNow or card once the doctor closes the consult.
- DigiMCs arrive via email, hosted on https://mc.gov.sg with QR verification.
- Medication can be couriered islandwide (typically within three hours) or collected from our partner clinic.
Important reminders
- Teleconsult hours: Weekdays 9am – 3pm.
- Keep minors accompanied by a guardian.
- Severe symptoms (chest pain, uncontrolled bleeding, sudden confusion) require immediate in-person care.
By following these four steps you can speak to a doctor, obtain a valid MC, and even receive medication at your doorstep—all while focusing on recovery.
